Movin’ On Up!

Yep, we’ve done it! After many months of doing the “Gina and Randy Show” for the Toadhop Network, they’ve finally moved the whole operation over to the John Lovitz Comedy / Podcast Theatre at Universal City Walk…and we moved right along with’em!

So now EVER SINGLE Friday from 8-10am PT, Randy and I will be entertaining the crap outta’ ya before the Heidi and Frank Show! (We still, of course, do the Pretty Good Podcast every Mon-Thurs as well!)

Don’t miss it! Just type in www.ginaandrandy.com and it’ll take you right over there!

Working the Grammy’s This Year…

For the Grammy’s this year, I had the pleasure of attending some Grammy events as well as collecting audio from the winners backstage during the actual show.

It was a lot of fun!

It’s Now 2012…and Clearly I’ve Been Slackin’!

It’s been almost a year since I’ve updated my website and as I hang my head in shame, I ask for your forgiveness in the hopes that we can start anew!

So here goes…new pictures, new links and new VO samples!!

Kansas

I recently had the pleasure of going back to the grrrreat plains for the wedding of my dear friend Jenny.

It was amazing to see old friends and to take in the sweet, thick Kansas summer air.

I even had time to go to one of my very favorite places in Kansas…The Louisburg Cider Mill, where I get my cider doughnuts, apple cider, bbq sauce and other goodies from the general store.

Kansas can get a bad rap - flat, conservative, dull - but I have to tell you…it can also be really beautiful.

What Started Off My Fearless Year

I had the great pleasure to go to Las Vegas this year with my co-host Randy Wang, my PRO-ducer Elijah Black, our good buddy Tim, and a WHOLE LOTTA PGPeeps.

We saw shows, gambled, rode rides, ate a ton of food…but best of all - I got to jump off the SkyJump at the Stratosphere Hotel.

I’m not lying when I say this is one of the scariest things I have EVER done. (Many big, burly tough guys I know REFUSE to do the jump!)

There was tons of fear and TONS of tears, but when I finally jumped, I really felt like I could do anything.

I then started learning how to shoot guns…

And lots of other SEEMINGLY scary things.

But the jump…that’s truly what started it all.

Can’t wait to see what else this year is going to cook up for this reformed ‘fraidy cat.

My New, Most Favorite Place…

ginasnow1

I’d been pretty stressed out.  Lotsa personal and professional stress and I really needed a break.  It was then that my friend Gabby stepped in and said (to summarize), “Pack your sh*t. I’m taking you to my favorite place. We’re going to Mammoth”.

So Gabby, my buddy Becky and I went up to the most beautiful, magical winter wonderland that I have EVER seen.

Just a short trip from balmy LA in late May, Mammoth Mountain in all of its high altitude glory, was snowing to the point of white out and it was just…perfect.

I took snowboarding lessons, went to the peak at 11,000 ft elevation, I went hiking in the Sierras and even relaxed in an outdoor hot tub, drinking snugglers, with snow falling all around us.

This was JUST the break I needed and I can’t wait to go back.
